Dilettante photographers or professional photographers, choose the capacity and organisation that really suits you.

Or rather what type of camera bag to choose? A practical camera backpack? A camera bag for an SLR camera? A camera bag with a shoulder strap? Or maybe even a camera bag or who knows, a camera case?The list goes on and on.

The photographer's task is delicate, precise and expert. It requires good mastery, speed and also technique.

Each photographer sees the world with a certain eye, intimate and personal, a look that he expresses in his photographs, just as he expresses his art and creativity. Each pic bears a unique imprint, that of its author.

However, everyone must have some theoretical knowledge and master the basic techniques. It is by keeping in mind the peculiarities that characterize the type of photos you like to take and the way you take them, that you must choose the camera bag that best suits the photographer that you are.

Your first step is to ask yourself what you need in terms of carrying capacity:

• What equipment will I take with me? How many camera cases? Which lenses? 
• Will I only have my own photographic equipment or will I also have other things like personal belongings?

The type of photograph you wish to take is of course decisive. Is it :

• a photograph taken on the spot. 
• of a landscape, in a natural setting. 
• a photograph of the extreme. 
• a fashion or journalistic photograph.

Depending on the type of photograph you are going to take your photo outing will not be of the same type :

• photo trip for a few hours in an urban environment. 
• excursion of several hours or days in nature. 
• holiday trip of several days. 
• trek, sports expedition or in a hostile environment.
